Very Nice and fast

, the only 2 things against solid state atm well 3 really are these.
1 is high cost, but this is with any new tech and will allways come down, just look at blue ray for example.
2 is storage capacity and this will allso change with time.
3 is the lifspan of solid state, as with memory stixs they have a very short lifespan, they can only to something like 300 million read and writes per sector or something like that, compared to unlimmited read and writes per sector on a conventional hardisk, but when a sector goes dead on solid state it just tells the machine that sector was never there so u dont see it gon ,utill you lose a lot and eventually start losing storage capacity, for this rerason they are only really good for laptops at the moment. They use bugger all power and save heaps on battery life, but for a gaming machine we would kill em . I am sure this will allso change in a year or 2.
The moving clicky rattling hardisk life is allmost over.
